Let's be honest - how annoying are those Facebook sponsored ads that show up in your feed? You see them; you wonder why these people are targeting you, and are they saying anything meaningful?
Chances are, like most people, you are going to pass right over them, and if you are like me, you may even take the time to hide future ads.
Why are you passing over them - because they aren't speaking to you? Most of these ads aren't solving a problem; they are selling a solution. You want to SELL to make money, but there are ways to get loud without making a sound on social media.
1) Your posts need to solve a problem. Speak to "the person" offer advice and connect.
2) Make sure you include images or videos that are going to make people stop in their tracks. Don't forget that a photograph speaks a thousand words so that you don't have to.
3) Be aware of what's going on in the world. Don't turn people off by your content because you seem to be blind to what's going on around us.
4) Remember, you don't always have to sell. Offering some advice, sharing another article or post, or just posing a question to solicit engagement will help build your brand identity.
